We had been thinking of ordering from Ruqaya’s bookshelf for sometime now. I am so glad that we finally made our first purchase. This collection truly captivates my children. Mr. Gamal teaches the children about ‘looking at things in a different way’ (as my 9 year old puts it). The illustrations are lovely and the physical book quality is great.

Would highly recommend! Thankful for such sweet books that have thoughtful content for these little minds.

This book is a wonderful lesson in gratitude for children, and a great reminder for parents. Mr. Gamal, a teacher, buys some colorful glasses from the dollar store and passes them out to his class. He tells them that when they face something negative in their life, to look through the colored lens and think of a positive thought in the situation. The kids present their experiences at the end of the week, and even teach Mr. Gamal a lesson about finding something positive when he find the class messy and disorganized

This book is one of our favorites and the pictures are so goofy and cute! My kids even grabbed some sunglasses and started experimenting on their own, trying to find the positive in everything around them.
