Ahmed is very excited about the annual kite-flying competition, but the day before the big race, everything goes wrong. His kite gets destroyed, then he gets stuck taking care of a calf walking around with a teapot for a shoe! He needs to get a new kite, but there isn't much time left. He only has until sunset...

Cute Read

Such a cute and thoughtful read . The bonus is the discussion questions towards the end . Love the way she writes. We might reread it again after few days just to reinforce :) I hope to see more books like this which instills good character in children bred in North America

My 4 year old boy loves this book and I enjoy reading it as much as he does. Nice story line, subtle lessons about care for animals, resilience, confidence and patience and lovely illustrations. A little gem.

Ahmed and the Very Stuck Teapot

Very cute story that will keep the interest of Muslim children of all ages. Teaches Islamic principles of kindness towards one's parents and towards animals and how to stand up to negative peer pressure, in an entertaining way. The colorful illustrations give children a window into the scenes and culture of Jordan and other Muslim countries. I highly recommend this book. Mashallah.
